PRLog (Press Release) -
Oct. 26, 2011 - Local cosmetic dentist Walter Kostrzewski has enlisted the help of the local Milford, CT community to help support U.S. troops through the Halloween Candy Buy Back program. The program gets the help of participating dentists like Kostrzewski and has them “buy” back kids Halloween candy at a scheduled event where candy is collected and shipped to our troops. This year’s event will be hosted by Dr. Kostrzewski at his Milford, CT office and participating kids will be eligible for free gift bags, a free meal from a local restaurant, ice cream, a dental care kit and more.
Local businesses are also encouraged to get involved as they too can collect Halloween candy from kids to send over to troops who are in harm’s way. Last year saw the collection of 125 tons of candy that went to troops all over the world from this program. “We hope to raise between 500 and 1000 pounds this year from the generous efforts of our local community so that our troops also have something to smile about” says Dr. Kostrzewski.
This year’s Halloween buy back is scheduled for November 1, 2011 from 5-7 pm at Dr. Walter Kostrzewski’
s Comfortable Care Dentistry office. The address is 203 Cherry Street, Milford, CT 06460. For more information call Dr. Kostrzewski’
