Kalkreuth Roofing & Sheet Metal Named 3rd Largest Roofing Firm in the Nation

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 26, 2011 - WHEELING, WV— October 26, 2011—Kalkreuth Roofing & Sheet Metal is proud to announce it is now ranked third largest roofing company in the nation according to the October 2011 issue of Engineering News Record (ENR). Each year, ENR publishes a list of the “Top 600 Specialty Contractors” which also includes lists of top 20 firms by industry.  This year, Kalkreuth Roofing & Sheet Metal is enjoying a new position on the list of the nation’s “Top 20 Firms in Roofing for 2010,” up three places from its rank of 6th in 2009. This jump was spurred by a growth of 18 percent, with 2010 revenue totaling $74.1 million. In the overall “Top 600 Specialty Contractors for 2010” list, Kalkreuth ranked 207 in the nation, an impressive 46-place jump from 2009.

While it was a year of growth for Kalkreuth, not all contractors are finding the same success in the tumultuous economy. Of the 515 firms on this year’s Top 600 who also submitted surveys last year, fewer than half —41.6 percent— showed an increase in revenue from 2009-2010.
