ULM purchased its second property on October 24, 1995 which is a post-war 18-story building located at 300 East 42nd Street. ULM is named directly after a beautiful German city, Ulm, which is known for having the church with the tallest steeple in the world, and for being the birthplace of Albert Einstein.
