The Plaintiffs are claiming that Magic Auto Center sold them two accident-damaged vehicles, and backdated the purchase contract for the second one.
“Backdating”
Although backdating does not violate California lemon law, Pedro and Esteban Blas and the Los Angeles lemon law attorney who represents them have filed the backdating claims in the Blas v. Magic Auto Center Los Angeles County Superior Court lawsuit as a class action on behalf of all other Los Angeles, California residents who also had their purchase contracts backdated.
The Los Angeles County Superior Court has not yet made any determinations of the merits of Plaintiffs' allegations, and Magic Auto Center has not yet been found guilty of violating the California lemon law, or any other applicable law. Magic Auto Center's guilt or innocence will be determined by the Los Angeles County Superior Court when it issues a judgement in the above-titled lawsuit.
