TransWorld Media Hires New Sales Rep Doug Olsen

Oct. 25, 2011 - PRLog -- Carlsbad, CA—TransWorld Media is proud to announce the recent hire of Doug Olsen to its sales staff. Doug brings over seven years of successful snowboarding industry sales experience from top brands including Burton, Analog, Gravis and most recently The Program, where he was the Account Manager for the Rockies territory. While working with these brands, he continually surpassed sales goals and helped implement new strategies to increase product sell-through and reorders. At TransWorld, Doug will focus on managing mostly endemic snowboarding accounts, selling advertising across all of the TransWorld brands including print, websites, sponsorships of events and videos and additional digital properties such as mobile applications and tablets.

As a TransWorld Sales Rep, Doug will report directly to Adam Cozens, Publisher of TransWorld SNOWboarding and TransWorld Business.  “I’m thrilled to have Doug joining our team,” said Adam.  “The skills and knowledge he built from working with Burton and its brands in addition to his love for snowboarding are the perfect fit for TransWorld.”

After spending most of his childhood in Detroit, Doug moved to Los Angeles where he received his Bachelor’s degree in marketing and most recently has relocated back to Southern California from Colorado, where he spent the past eight years. “I am extremely excited to join the TransWorld family out here in sunny Southern California,” said Doug. “I have so much love for snowboarding and the action sports industry, and I’m really looking forward to utilizing my past experience to help make a positive impact in the media world.”
