Balance Interactive to Develop Drupal Website for ANCOR

Oct. 25, 2011 - PRLog -- Balance Interactive will work with The American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR) on a full redesign of the organization’s website. The site will use the Drupal open source content management system.

Balance Interactive will conduct user testing, interview key user groups to build an understanding of what ANCOR's audiences want from the site, and redefine the site architecture of ANCOR.org. The goal is to attract a greater number of members and other audiences to become website users and community participants.

The newly envisioned website will be a one-stop source of information and connectivity regarding services and solutions for providers of services to people with disabilities and the individuals they serve. The site will give members access to ANCOR programs and services.

ANCOR is a national trade association representing more than 800 private providers of community living and employment supports and services to more than 400,000 individuals with disabilities. As a nonprofit organization, ANCOR successfully addresses the needs and interests of private providers before Congress and federal agencies, continually advocating for the crucial role private providers play in enhancing and supporting the lives of people with disabilities and their families. ANCOR provides organization, professional, leadership development and networking opportunities and services, and is continually working toward partnerships and collaborations that advance our vision, mission and goals. Through its National Advocacy Campaign, ANCOR seeks to obtain the resources to recruit, train and retain a sustainable direct support workforce.
