Armidale business set to benefit

Oct. 25, 2011 - PRLog -- Anittel Group Limited (ASX: ‘AYG’- ‘Anittel’ or ‘the Company’) is pleased to announce the opening of a new office in Armidale NSW. Anittel’s new Armidale office is located at Suite 7, 188-192 Beardy Street, Armidale NSW 2350.

This initiative follows the recent opening of the company’s Tamworth office in August, which is part of Anittel’s continued strategy to support the complete IT & Telecommunications requirements of SMB businesses across Australia. Anittel’s national presence now totals 17 regional and metropolitan office locations.
“Anittel will continue to grow its regional footprint. Our ability to engage with clients locally is key to helping deliver a new breed of IT and Telecommunication services”, explained Anittel CEO Peter Kazacos.

Anittel’s Regional Manager Dave McGill explains further. “Local organisations in New England and the North West now have access to a local provider which can assist with all facets of their IT & Telecommunications requirements. Anittel delivers innovative solutions that can help Armidale businesses to reach their full potential. In addition our local presence is backed by national resources and expertise, which is often hard to find in regional Australia”.

The introduction and combination of the NBN and Cloud Technologies will add to Anittel’s ability to help improve local business practices. “As an NBN Retail Service Supplier, Anittel can connect businesses to the NBN and then provision innovative cloud based solutions to their site”, explained McGill.

Anittel is currently looking at ways to work with businesses and civic leaders to harness the NBN by building employment opportunities that will benefit local businesses and the local community at large. “For too long many of the high paying jobs have gone to the cities. We’d like to see a more even placement of technology opportunities in regional areas”, McGill says.

Currently Anittel is working with Armidale Chamber of Commerce to offer an insight into the opportunities the NBN will bring the business community in New England and the North West.
