PRLog - Oct. 24, 2011 - Digital Frontier, a motion picture company with leading CG production services, is pleased to announce the establishment of subsidiary in Taipei, Taiwan.
Taipei city is located in an ideal location, providing easy access to and from Japan. Taiwan which is located southwest of Japan has a time difference of an hour and flight time of approximately 3 hours. The office is situated in Neihu district, a technology park near Songshan Airport (Taipei International Airport) which is offering direct flights from Tokyo Haneda Airport, providing ideal location for CG production.
On October 20th an opening ceremony took place at The Regent Taipei, which invited CEO from Taiwan’s CG production company CGCG, government, university professors throughout Taiwan, media, and more. At the ceremony CEO Ueki Hidenori said “In the near future, I hope to create new contents in Taiwan for global audience.” At the opening, Digital Frontier Taiwan also agreed to work closely with universities to improve CG curriculum in Taiwan.
Digital Frontier Taiwan aims to provide high quality works with same production line as in that of Tokyo headquarter. The office is open and has staffs including 10 newly graduates that are done training and in the next few months it plans to hire more local staffs for CG production as well as CG related technology research. As more Japanese contents enter the global market and seeing Taiwan’s effort to strengthen its CG industry, “in the future, I believe Taiwan office would become Digital Frontier’s window to Asia” said Alex Liao, CEO of Digital Frontier Taiwan.
