Oct. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- Make the most of the October half term coming up from Saturday 22nd October to Saturday 29th October 2011, and get away with the family, October can be a great holiday time.

Get some colour in your cheeks with a wonderful holiday in one of the many Cornwall caravan parks, or choose a Devon caravan park, get plenty of fresh air, especially if the British weather is feeling kind, October can be a wonderful time to get out and about.

The good thing about taking a holiday on a caravan park is you can at a moments notice, get in the car and whisk your family off to spend a memorable time in the wonderful West Country with their quaint seaside towns and all things water based.

If you are traveling with children, there is plenty of family friendly accommodation to choose from and if you are not restricted to traveling within the school holidays you can save money and avoid the crowds if you take your break out of season.

A caravan park Cornwall has everything that will make a break special, with wonderful scenery and beaches to walk and do some crabbing, you don’t have to swim in the sea especially at this time of the year; there are plenty of indoor swimming pools for everyone to enjoy.

Touring around campsites in Cornwall or maybe a campsite Devon will give the children plenty to see and do, use one as a base and visit different tourist spots in the day, have a lovely Cornish pasty lunch, or a wonderful cream tea, of which the West Country is famed for.

Out and about in Cornwall and Devon will give so much pleasure whatever the time of year, such as Boscastle which is a National Trust fishing village with a small quay, with lovely walks and several really good pubs, Tintagel, is probable one of the best known places in Cornwall, or Port Isaac is a beautiful 14th century fishing village, and this un-spoilt village was recently the setting for the television series of Doc Martin.

Many other places to visit such as Clovelly, Padstow, Wadebridge and many more give pleasure to all ages, shopping in the quant villages, looking for souvenirs to take home for family and friends is all part and parcel of the perfect holiday.

A spokesman for Wooda Farm Holiday Park in Bude North Cornwall said “we are always busy in the school half terms, simply because no matter what the weather there is always something to do.  No getting on planes, delays at airports, just pack up and come to Wooda Farm we guarantee you will have a fantastic time.  We can offer static luxury caravans for rent, or cottages if that is your preference, or of course if you are towing your own caravan we have very spacious pitches with electric and water hook ups”.

Caravanning and camping is fun for the whole family, and there is a choice of plenty of caravan parks dotted through Devon and Cornwall, and if the English weather deals you a blow, it is not the end of the world, there is always plenty to do on a good quality holiday park, and more importantly at a price that everyone can afford.
