Rainbow of Hope Charity Event

Oct. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- SINGAPORE, 14 October 2011 – Believing that every single child is special and deserving, De Hygienique (DH) has committed to an annual charity drive with Club Rainbow as the official beneficiary.

Kicking into the second year, 'Rainbow of Hope' is the company's annual CSR initiative to give back to society and to help the underprivileged ones who need support.
This year, the project takes on a three-pronged approach:
1.   Complimentary Mattress Cleaning – Underprivileged children from Club Rainbow will get to enjoy sleeping on clean, allergen-free mattresses cleaned by DH's patented Potema® Mattress Cleaning System.
2.   Collective Fund Raising - We believe in engaging the love and help of our fellow staff and customers to participate in a series of fund raising activities. This includes a $2 contribution from the company for every mattress cleaned during the period of September and October 2011.
DH's customers can donate any toys or story books. Donations will be collected and sent to the children of Club Rainbow. Customers can also purchase a HOPE card from DH at $10 each - the card which can be used to feature handwritten well wishes will be pieced together to form a mosaic and exhibited during the event finale on 19 November 2011. 3.   'Rainbow of Hope' Event Finale - A whole afternoon promising meaningful and fun activities for parents and children alike. Children will expect lots of enjoyable activities like Christmas cupcake decoration, Amazing Race Game Stations, storytelling - all assisted by kind student volunteers from National Institute of Education. While children are having fun, parents will attend allergy management talks by renowned pediatric allergists (Event details below).

As a corporate social responsible company, DH hopes to bring support and hope to the families of underprivileged children. Through this charity drive, we want to honour the selfless sacrifices of the parents and caregivers of these children. Unflagging spirits who never give up and never let go of their children whom they love regardless of their inadequacies.
