Wyclef‘s Refugee All-Star Sound adds hip hop venues to European tour for the first time ever

Oct. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- [GiGi Capone PR & Associates]Sacramento, CA- From the best Reggae to the most intricate styles of hip hop, top 40 and more; WRAS is rocking parties with every genre all throughout the eastern seaboard this month; most recently Wyclef Jean’s birthday party and WRAS anniversary celebration in NYC at Webster Hall; a huge event that will be talked about all year.  

Since WRAS top Selecta Sean Madhouse announced to promoters last week that they can add hip hop venues for booking, WRAS has confirmed 6 new dates for their tour. Undeniably Wyclef Jean is a historical hip hop icon; the addition of hip hop venues to the reggae tour makes perfect business sense. “WRAS’ roots always have and always will be based on reggae but we are versatile and enjoy catering too our large variety of fans; which also includes people who love hip hop AND reggae” states Sean Madhouse.

Madhouse currently produces 6 radio shows; 2 reggae and 4 others that infuse a hip hop, dance, top 40, and reggae flavor into 1 show. WRAS has developed new relationships with hip hop artists like Sloan Bone of Mo Thugs, BXC (Luda’s new group) and a few other talented artist; naturally you can expect some hot new hip hop mixtape releases coming soon.

“Reggae is our craft and hip hop has always been a friend to us.” states Reem Saunders; the newest addition to WRAS.  Saunders is also an on air DJ/Personality whom continues to hone his craft with Wyclef’s Refugee All-Star sound.

The third member of WRAS DJ Khadaffy simple states “It don’t matter where we go or what we play; reggae, hip hop, red carpet, urban backdrop… we shut it down from the minute the first beat drops”.
