Making waves for young people across the country

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 23, 2011 - Blessing Maregere and Adam Bradford are both successful young entrepreneurs from Yorkshire. So far in their lives they have made it their mission to positively promote young people and inspire them to achieve their goals. Blessing, from Leeds, is part of the UK Youth Chamber which helps young people in business and also runs his own successful enterprises. Blessing also wrote a book called ‘Who said you can’t be young and successful’ which encourages young people to consider starting their own businesses. Adam, from Sheffield, runs his own group of companies in the IT field, and was also awarded National Ambassador of the Year award by Peter Jones CBE for the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy. Both Adam and Blessing are involved in a number of initiatives to support and motivate young people across the country.

They have both teamed up this year and are hosting a boat party to connect young people, businesspeople and entrepreneurs as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week. This week celebrates the opportunities which can arise from considering being your own boss. It operates across the globe and the pair’s event will form part of the international celebrations. The boat party takes place in London on the River Thames on the evening of the 16th November and will connect young CEOs, young entrepreneurs, teenagers and successful businesspeople. They say that ‘the event is for aspiring entrepreneurs, to enable them to meet with successful businesspeople, to network and to share ideas.’ They believe that by bringing together successful and aspiring people, that brighter futures can be created for youngsters with drive and ambition across the country.
