CLARKSVILLE, AR – Keep Kids Fire Safe Foundation announced a major hiring this morning, bringing on Jeff Huddleston to serve as its new Development Director

“The foundation is extremely lucky to have Jeff on board. Jeff had a very distinguished record in the Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office and is an amazing educator,” said Dayna Hilton, Executive Director for the foundation.

As Development Director, Huddleston’s primary responsibility will be the design and implementation of all fund raising and external communication strategies to support foundation program initiatives and priorities. In this capacity, Huddleston will supervise all donor relations and public relations for the foundation.

Located in Clarksville, Arkansas, Keep Kids Fire Safe Foundation serves thousands of youth and adults each year across the United States. Keep Kids Fire Safe Foundation offers unique educational programs, including Sparkles’ Safety Spot, a fire safety program streamed live on the web.

The foundation recently celebrated its 2nd anniversary and while it has received strong support in the past, it has been looking to broaden its fundraising base.

Mr. Huddleston is excited to hit the ground running. “I am so proud and excited to be joining the Keep Kids Fire Safe Foundation as Development Director,” said Mr. Huddleston. “In addition to fundraising to help support the work of the foundation, I feel that I have much to offer in the way of creativity, experience and passion for educating children as well as adults on the importance of fire safety. I am looking forward to contributing to this exceptional team of fire safety educators; my goal is and has always been the same as theirs...to reduce the fire-related deaths and injuries among children and their caregivers.”

Keep Kids Fire Safe Foundation Executive Director Dayna Hilton concurred, “Successful non-profit organizations must constantly seek ways to improve. I have every confidence that thousands of children will reap the benefits of Mr. Huddleston’s efforts.”

Mr. Huddleston will be introduced to children and foundation supporters during the 15th episode of “Sparkles’ Safety Spot” to be broadcast live on the web on November 1st at 7:00 PM CST.
