Hank Yuloff And Gonzalo Marquez Recognized By The San Fernando Jaycees For Their Contributions

The San Fernando Valley Jaycees recognized Encino Chamber of Commerce Board Members for their contribution to the success as an organization.

Oct. 25, 2011 - PRLog -- Current Encino Chamber of Commerce Vice President, and past President, Hank Yuloff, and Encino Chamber of Commerce President-Elect, Gonzalo Marquez, were recognized for their contributions to the success of the San Fernando Valley Jaycees. The recognition was bestowed upon Messrs. Yuloff and Marquez at the 2011 San Fernando Valley Jaycees Gala at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Woodland Hills. The Gala also honored Dr. Carl Melnik with a lifetime achievement award, and Los Angeles City Council Mitch Englander with the Jaycee of the Year award.

The recognition came as a surprise to Mr. Yuloff, who was not told before hand that he would be receiving an award. Mr. Yuloff received the recognition, in part, as a result of his sponsorship of several non-profits participating in the San Fernando Valley Jaycees signature event, Involvement. One of the non-profit organizations sponsored in 2011 was Encino Chamber member, United Cancer Advocacy Action.

Encino Chamber Chief Executive, Diana Donovan, was pleased Mr. Yuloff received the recognition. “Hank understands the true meaning of giving back.  He makes himself available to help a business or a non-profit find new ways to market themselves.”

Nick Ramirez, President of the San Fernando Valley Jaycees, added “Hank is one of the most generous businessmen I know and his involvement in the community and support for non-profits really does put him in a league of his own”.

Also honored at the Gala was Encino Chamber of Commerce President-Elect, Gonzalo Marquez of Providence Tarzana Medical Center. Mr. Marquez received his recognition for the continued support he and Providence Tarzana provide to the San Fernando Valley Jaycees. Specifically, for his integral collaboration on the free pediatric health clinic held this past July at the Child Development Institute's Early Learning Center.

The Encino Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate Mr. Hank Yuloff and Mr. Gonzalo Marquez on their recognition from the San Fernando Valley Jaycees.
