Guida’s Milk: Here They Grow Again!

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 21, 2011 - Guida’s Milk received their Certificate of Occupancy for the new 25,000 square foot facility added to their corporate location at 433 Park Street in New Britain, CT.  

This is the second time in the past 12 years an addition has been made to their original facility.  Guida’s Milk expanded back in 1999 by adding on a large state of the art cooler, pasteurizing room and laboratory.  This expansion also marked the addition of new jobs, some of which were filled by local residents.  

The newest expansion is a two level processing plant addition to the existing plant.  PDS Engineering & Construction, Inc. was the general contractor for this project.  Included in the construction is a steel beam signed by Guida’s Milk employees.  

The new facility allows for consolidation of previously off premise space to be incorporated into the existing plant.  The lower level provides storage for empty cases and unloading.  The upper level has four levels high of dry storage space for 1,000 pallets.  Since moving into the new facility, Guida’s Milk facilitated a reduction in local traffic.
