Follow on Google News | C-technology implements ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System in ALONEC-technology have implemented the international Quality Standard ISO9001 for Irish charity ALONE.
By: Paul McDonnell Alone were founded in 1976, during a very cold spell where over a few weeks eight elderly people were found dead in their Dublin homes. The ALONE CEO, Sean Moynihan, stated that the charity wanted to implement a continuous improvement culture that would benefit the service users and all stakeholders involved with the charity. After some research ALONE decided to implement the international Quality Standard ISO 9001:2008. ISO 9001:2008 was published in November 2008, updating the earlier ISO 9001: 2000. It is part of a series of quality management system standards, sometimes referred to as ISO 9000. This group of standards is intended to help organizations analyse and improve elements in their various operations, from supply right through to distribution. C-technology, Ireland's leading provider of quality, environmental and health & safety management solutions, were appointed as the consultants to implement the quality management system. C-technology have extensive experience in developing and implementing quality mananagement systems accross a wide range of industries and sectors. C-technologies director of quality, Paul McDonnell stated that ALONE are in the process of seeking formal certification for their Quality System and expect to be fully accredited during the month of November.
