Humanity can end its reliance on hard work as the majority of the earth's population could begin retiring after ten years of hard work after extended education after the technologies that result from unified physics are in place. The human population can exist where everybody could literally have anything at a cost of next to nothing, as replicators will be powered and able to reproduce anything for only the cost of electricity to power the machine.
