InventHelp® Client Patents “Ergo-Slice” – Invention Could Adjust In-Store Deli Slicers Easily

Oct. 21, 2011 - PRLog -- PITTSBURGH...InventHelp®, America’s largest inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Alabama, has designed a slicer table for deli meats that could be easily raised or lowered for employees of varying heights. This invention is patented and a prototype is available.

The “Ergo-Slice” is designed to prevent neck and back problems or a possible serious injury, according to the inventor. It could help employees of varying heights to reach the in-store deli slicers easily, without having to stretch or reach. It could boost productivity while saving time and effort, and could help to cut down on worker’s compensation claims from on-the-job injuries. Easy to operate, the employees could adjust the Ergo-Slice as needed.

The invention would be a height-adjustable commercial slicer table, produced from steel. The table would rest on a base that contained an electric motor, and a meat or cheese slicer would be attached to the top in a semi-permanent manner. To adjust the height of the table, a user would operate a switch that would move the table up or down as needed.
