PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 20, 2011 - The Green Screen International Film Festival Society (Green Screen) is pleased to announce their first corporate Sponsor: Pacific Arbour Retirement Residences. They will also be presenting the Outstanding Achievement Award to Tantoo Cardinal at the Opening Night Awards Reception which is taking place at the Kay Meek Center. 1700 Mathers Avenue, West Vancouver BC.

With any non-profit the support of their sponsors are often critical for their ability to make the difference that they want to make.  For the Green Screen Film Festival this is especially true according to a spokesperson, who praised the generous support of all the sponsors not only with contributions of money but with contributions of publicity packages and marketing support.  As this was the first annual Film festival the Green Screen Society had a huge challenge ahead of them in raising the consciousness and awareness of the community to this exceedingly worthwhile event.

Fortunately our Featured Films often included narration or participation of some very famous movie stars including, Robert Redford, The New Environmentalists; Tom Selleck, American Serengeti and Glenn Close, Nature’s Greatest Defender.  Tantoo Cardinal is also receiving an award for Outstanding Achievement in the Film Industry.
