Information Officer Carol Steensen, will maintain overall responsibilities for the Meal Services program. A 20+ year volunteer and executive officer of the Corporation, Ms. Steensen has been instrumental in the automation of Meal Services and Volunteer information, establishment of office and systems policy, procedures, documentation and training of office staff. The Information Officer previously had combined responsibilities for all technology, information and operational requirements of the corporation.
Volunteer Janice Bartner, who originally proposed and implemented this non-profit organization's website as Public Relations Officer in 2008-09, will continue to serve on its Board of Directors as Website Officer. Ms. Bartner has actively managed the corporation's internet presence, including its website content, online donation capability and online press releases since March 2011. She brings her career expertise in corporate communications, business and information systems management to the position. The Website Officer shall assist the Public Relations Officer, Sara Peterson as needed.

Venice Area Mobile Meals, Inc. is a fiscally responsible, 501(c)(3) non-profit, all volunteer organization which has delivered almost 2 million "Mobile Meals” to residents unable to prepare a meal due to mental or physical disability in the Greater Venice, FL area since 1969. An average of 165 meals are delivered a day, 6 days a week, 52 weeks a year (holidays included) with the help of about 200 volunteers, each providing a few hours of their time each week.
