Dr. Rosenfeld, a renowned researcher and lecturer on fibromyalgia, also explains how fibromyalgia patients different from non-FM patients when it comes to sleep.

“Pain and Depression: A Fire in the Brain,” by Gary Kaplan, D.O., founder and medical director of The Kaplan Center for Integrative Medicine in McLean, Virginia, offers some positive news for patients who suffer the double dose of fibromyalgia and depression: “Recent medical studies of patients dually diagnosed with chronic pain and depression are revealing that these patients have a unique disease process.  And this discovery is pointing toward some promising new diagnosis and treatment options.”
