Christmas Eve, Saturday, 24th December

We welcome you to Monte do Casal with a glass of chilled champagne as we deal with the formalities. After you  have settled in, relax in the lounge and enjoy Afternoon tea with mince pies.

Christmas Eve Welcome Cocktail Party

Time 6:30pm – 7:30pm

A chance to meet fellow guests in a relaxed House Party atmosphere in the Cocktail Bar, while a glass of chilled champagne is offered.

House Smoked Salmon on Croissant with Lemon Mayonnaise.
Savoury Profiterole filled with a Mousse of House Smoked Tuna and Creamed Horseradish.
Quail’s Egg, Paté, Duxcelle, Hollandaise Sauce
Sweet Onion Chicken Liver Terrine.
Tomato Bearnaise.
Seafood Cocktail .
Chicken and cucumber with a sweet and sour tarragon reduction.
Ham with Swedish Dill sauce in a pastry case
Crab and Leek Croquettes with a finely diced Gherkin and Caper Sauce.
Prawns Tempura with Sweet Chilli dipping sauce.

After the welcome cocktail party, you are invited to have dinner in our gourmet restaurant.
From 7:30pm
Enjoy a 3 Course Table d’Hote Menu, especially prepared to this occasion. Half a bottle of House Wine per person is included.
