$17,500 to be Awarded to Three Companies at San Diego Venture Group’s PitchFest 2011 Event

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 20, 2011 - SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – October 20, 2011 – Three of San Diego’s most innovative and fundable companies will emerge as winners of $17,500 at San Diego Venture Group’s PitchFest 2011 event Thursday, November 17. The prize money will be used by these companies to support their business expansion in the region.

The ten semi-finalists for PitchFest 2011 were selected from the more than 70 nominee applications for their innovation, investor appeal, and progress. These ten companies will present to a panel of venture capital judges at the PitchFest event, who will then select the three finalists. The ten semi-finalists are:

“It never ceases to amaze how much talent we have in San Diego,” said David Titus, President of San Diego Venture Group. “We received more than 70 applications for this prize money, and it was no small feat to narrow the choice to ten.”
