Channel 5’s Steve Weagle to be Master of Ceremonies for 2011 Arthur’s Jam Rocks!
West Palm Beach: The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Palm Beach Chapter is pleased to announce that WPTV NewsChannel 5’s Chief Meteorologist Steve Weagle will be the Master of Ceremonies for the 15th Annual Arthur’s Jam! The event will be held on Saturday evening, November 12, 2011, at the Lake Pavilion on the Waterfront in downtown West Palm Beach.
Arthur’s Jam was founded in 1996 by friends of Arthur Weiss as a way to commemorate his life while raising funds for the fight against Cystic Fibrosis (CF). Proceeds from the event will help fund research that will one day lead to a cure for CF, and will improve the quality of life for those suffering from this fatal disease. Over the last 14 years, Arthur’s Jam has raised over a million dollars for research and science to fund a cure for CF.
This exciting evening will include heavy hors d'oeuvres and an open bar for an expected 300+ guests, short program, dancing to live music, bidding on exclusive auction items and the opportunity to mix and mingle with other guests. Music will be provided by performers from the School of Rock. Our guest caterer for this unique event is Christafaro’
