Condominium sales increased 5.9 percent in September 2011, a difference of just one sale compared to September 2010. Unlike single-family homes, condo prices in Newton soared in September. The median price of condos increased 38.8 percent in September 2011, a difference of $147,500 compared to September of the previous year.
Multi-family home sales decreased 83.3 percent in September 2011, a difference of five sales compared to September 2010.The median price of multi-family homes rose 46.9 percent in September 2011, a difference of $239,500 compared to the same period last year.
