The homepage redesign sets out to make the site easier to navigate, to make the site look sleeker and more professional, to better communicate the site's philosophy, purpose, and content, and to better encourage participation in the site's interactive features. The site's purpose and philosophy is to draw in tea drinkers, from the casual to the connoisseur, and encourage them to try new teas and learn more about where their tea comes from and how it is produced.
The homepage also includes a redesigned header and logo, launched a few weeks prior to the new homepage. The header and logo also more clearly communicate the purpose and extent of the site.
