Laurie C. Burke, DC, CCSP Selects Benchmark for Electronic Health Record Solution

Burke, DC, CCSP will implement Benchmark’s enterprise solution to automate the clinical functions of the practice. The practice will eliminate most of its paper storage by digitally storing patient and practice data. Via HIPAA encrypted technology, the physician will have 24/7 remote access to this digitally store patient and practice data.  Patient charts will now be easily sent to and from referring physicians, labs, pharmacies and hospitals in real-time.

A CPOE module will accelerate the ordering of lab, radiology and prescription information. Through a waiting room kiosk, or even online from the comfort of home patients will be able to view test results and visit summaries. Patients will also be able to complete new patient intake forms and request prescription refills, ensuring more streamlined processes.
