Oct. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- MIAMI – BNI Miami-Dade member Robert Vallejo, founder of Alligator Construction, was featured on the A&E Television Program “Fix This Kitchen” as the contractors who bring new life to a South Florida family’s kitchen. The episode aired nationally October 8 and October 16.

According to the “Fix This Kitchen” episode guide, the show focuses on Lucy who is a full-time mother of three young adults and a devoted military wife. The Weston, Fla. mother loves to cook because it grounds her to her Latin roots and brings her family together. However, she finds it challenging in a space that is falling apart. Lucy's daughter, Josey, enlists designer Nicole Facciuto and chef extraordinaire Eric Greenspan to turn their small townhouse kitchen into one fit for a big family. The team recruits Alligator Construction to create a space where Lucy can teach her children how to cook for themselves, and where she can have them over for dinner for years to come.

“We were thrilled to be a part of this effort to help this family,” said Vallejo who is a member of the chapter BNI Rainmakers in Coral Gables. “It also gave us the opportunity to display our expertise as our dedicated team of professionals transformed a challenging space into a very practical and comfortable one that is also contemporary and elegant.”

Vallejo is a licensed general contractor in the State of Florida with more than ten years of experience in a wide array of projects. Mr. Vallejo's background includes working as a project manager in a notable Florida based construction firm where he gained a vast amount of experience working on residential, commercial, government and medical facilities.
