Oct. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Expanding Yorkshire nursing agency Twenty Four Seven is bucking the current trend in recruitment.

The Ilkley based firm, who supply nurses and care workers to hospitals, care homes and private clients across North and West Yorkshire, have been recruiting extensively in recent months, in order to meet the increasing demand for their homecare services.

Since the transfer of homecare provision from public to private sector last year, Twenty Four Seven has appointed over fifty care workers and plans to recruit a further fifty in the next six months.

Twenty Four Seven’s managing director Janet Smith said, “Our team of homecare workers provide a vital service to elderly, infirm and vulnerable people in their own homes. There’s a huge demand for quality homecare and we are continuing to focus our efforts on meeting demand.”

“We’re particularly keen to recruit suitable candidates in the North Leeds, Craven, Harrogate and Wetherby areas,” she added.

Twenty Four Seven Nursing was set up in 2000 with just a handful of nursing staff on its books. Today the company employs a team of over 400 nurses and care workers and is one of just a handful of independent nursing agencies in the UK to supply the national NHS framework.
