The fifteen day long exhibition is displaying around 35 works by renowned artists. “Each artwork at display has an individualistic style, covering an array of themes, palettes and techniques. The group of artists include Suhas Roy, whose preoccupation is primarily with female face and form; his artworks display sensuality and innocence. Ashoke Mullick is also displaying his collection. His paintings focus on the contradictions faced by women. Biswapati Maity’s paintings, which are a true reflection of personal thought in the social perspective, is also on display. Apart from these, other eminent artists like Debabrata Hazra, Arunima Sanyal, Jayanta Naskar, Sukanta Das, Subrato Gangopadhyay, Arpita Basu, Shankar Ghosh, Subrata Paul, Subrata Biswas and Niranjan Pradhan are also showcasing their collections.
