Rockwall Bancshares, Inc. Appoints Eric Anderson as CEO

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 18, 2011 - ROCKWALL, Texas  – Rockwall Bancshares, Inc. today announced the appointment of Eric Anderson as chief executive officer.  Anderson, a veteran Texas banker, brings more than 27 years of banking experience to the corporation.

“Eric is a perfect fit for our new organization, and we are very fortunate to have him join our team,” said Kevin Fowler, co-founder and president of Rockwall Bancshares. “Eric brings a strong background with both community banks and multi-national banking corporations, as well as ties to the Rockwall, Rowlett, and Greenville, Texas communities.”

Anderson will work closely with Fowler as they work to complete the corporation’s planned acquisition of the First National Bank of Chillicothe, followed by the opening of a Rockwall-based branch which will be branded Victory Bank. With more than 50 years of combined banking experience, Anderson and Fowler strive to redefine what it means to be a bank by focusing on relationships and problem solving to help friends and neighbors get things done in a tough economic environment.

Anderson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Missouri and earned a master's degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Arlington.  He is a founding trustee of the Hunt Regional Medical Center Foundation, an Ambassador of the Rowlett Chamber of Commerce, and serves as a member of the Boles ISD Education Foundation.
