Art In The Brew Exhibition To Showcase El Paso's Finest Rising Contemporary Artists

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 18, 2011 - Art in the Brew Exhibition to Showcase El Paso's Finest Rising Contemporary Artists, featuring works by Miguel Bonilla, Akeceri Carillo, Lani Hermosillo, Efren Lechuga, Jason Lucero, Gabriel Marquez, Andres Payan, Biruki Quintana, Sergio Ramirez, Carla Zabalegui, and Reginald Armstrong, in various mediums, including painting, sculpture, photography and installation, will open to the public on Friday, October 21st, 2011, at The Brewhouse, 140 North Stevens Street, Suite 300, El Paso, Texas, from 5:00pm to 11:00pm. Admission is free and open to all ages.

Reginald Armstrong, the exhibit's curator, and also a featured artist explains, "Art in the Brew Exhibition seeks to expose greater El Paso to the local contemporary art movement and introduce its rising stars; many of whom are current students or recent alumni of the University of Texas at El Paso". Art in the Brew is presented in old Plant 9 of the former Falstaff Brewery (also known as Harry Mitchell's). Since the Falstaff Brewery went out of business, the building has been used as office and living space by artistic and creative individuals. Fans and aficionado's of contemporary art are sure to enjoy the talent and creativity of the award-winning artists introduced at the Art in the Brew Exhibition. Attendees are highly encouraged to meet each of the artists personally. All art shown will be available for purchase. Live music performances by special guests will be announced throughout the evening.
