Oct. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Loy Krathong Festival, a festival of light at full moon in the twelfth lunar month. It is celebrated in Thailand at the end of the rainy period as thanksgiving for the rainfall, so essential for survival in this country and you can escape unbelievable crowd around the Chao Phraya River to memorialize this magical time. Krathong are small vessels made from banana leaves, flowers, or paper, in which candles, incense sticks, flowers and confectionery are placed. As darkness falls, they are floated on the rivers and ponds. Let celebrate Thailand's most beautiful festival together at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers on Thursday, November 10th, 2011 from 7.00 pm to 22.15 pm.

Tickets are Baht 4,000 nett per person for a memory time on the Riverside Terrace. Alternatively guests can enjoy viewing the river with an Italian set dinner at Giorgio's prepared especially from our Sicilian born chef, Gaetano Palumbo at Baht 3,300 nett per person or a Thai set dinner at Thara Thong prepared especially by our awarded chefs at Baht 3,300 nett per person.  Half price for children age from 5 to 12 and with no charge for children under the age of 5.
