Oct. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- Maxim Hygiene, makers of organic and natural cotton feminine hygiene products, believes that a healthy woman is a happy woman, which is why they are always seeking opportunities to educate their community of women and product users about a variety of different health topics. As everyone knows, October is Breast Cancer Awareness and in support of this very pertinent women’s health topic, Maxim Hygiene is showing its support with month long educational posts and initiatives. One of the many projects supported was co-anchor of “Noticias Univision 41 Al Despertar” (Univision 41 News at Dawn), Merijoel Duran and her 3rd Annual Breast Cancer Fundraiser which celebrates women that have conquered breast cancer and those who are currently affected with cancer. Maxim Hygiene also sponsored Long Island University WLIU radio’s Breast Cancer Walk where students walked with survivors of breast cancer to continue their local community’s efforts to raise awareness.

Maxim Hygiene is not only active during this popular month centered around women’s health, but works year round to support such causes. Last month, Maxim Hygiene was mentioned on the Huffington Post about their donation of feminine hygiene products to celebrity manicurist Myrdith Leon Mccormack who travel to Haiti to give to those in dire need. Maxim Hygiene believes good health is a human right and should not be viewed as privilege; women have the right to have access to healthier and safer products that won’t harm their body. Maxim Hygiene also sponsored the launch party of Super Model Gear with model mogul, Maryam Basir to prove being healthy is fashionable.

Recently, Maxim Hygiene launched a Social Responsibility Campaign in support of You ARE Loved, a non-profit dedicated to raising awareness around TSS and menstruation education. Together, Maxim Hygiene and You ARE Loved, got their message aired on the nationally televised talk show the Doctors. “It is our responsibility to educate women and help women that suffer from irritations to be more comfortable with the most natural occurrence all women have every month” says Rebecca Alvandi, Vice President of Maxim Hygiene products.

Maxim Hygiene’s commitment to charitable causes supports its inherent value as a medium-sized, family-run company that believes in and supports quality products and services that offer true healthy and lifestyle benefits.
