Anyone with an iPhone can now send an A5 or A6 postcard of the photos they’ve taken on their mobile, direct from their handset.
Along with a personalised message, your photos can be printed, posted and will then arrive through your friends letterbox.
All you do is take the photo and use Docmail to add a message and choose your recipients. Then print and post company Docmail does the rest, printing and posting your card, to be delivered by conventional mail.
So no matter what’s happening – if you’re out with friends, on a holiday, at a funny situation or just somewhere with a stunning view – you can send a physical photo of what you can see for less than the cost of a postcard and a stamp.
Put simply, Docmail turns your iPhone into an instant postcard machine. So if you want to send a snapshot of your day, show someone you care or make them laugh, you can do it with Docmail.
The service starts from just 44 pence per postcard, with payment through PayPal and can be done instantly through the phone, once you’ve downloaded the app. Overseas prices start from £1.06. The app keeps a history of the card sent, so you can review or send them again at a later date.
The cards can also be sent to multiple addresses at the same time, either entered on screen, or from the contact addresses in the Apple operating system.
Dave Broadway, managing director of CFH Docmail says: “It’s still great to receive a postcard through the letterbox and we believe this app can bring an exciting new reason for sending a one.”
