The 43 years old who started his working life as an apprentice joiner before amassing 26 years of experience in the timber business, will work out of the company’s St Asaph complex.
“Apart from five years in the Royal Artillery serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, I have spent my entire career in the timber trade,” said David who lives in Northwich, Cheshire. “I will be using my knowledge of this business to introduce new clients to the benefits of oak framed construction.”
When he is not at OAQ, David, a vice chairman of the Royal British Legion in Northwich, can be found working on the follow up to his successful novel Without Prejudice, a personal account of his experiences as a soldier serving in international war zones.
Oaq - the 'Q' comes from quercus, the Latin for oak - is capable of delivering complete oak-framed buildings for both domestic and business clients as well as extentions, garden rooms and porches.
