Follow on Google News | British Waterways Given Assessor’s Qualification TrainingWiltshire based Aid Training & Operations Ltd have recently provided British Waterways’ staff with training for the Assessors’ Qualification.
By: Paul Hoskings British Waterways took this decision as it has allowed them to save money on specialist 3rd party training by bringing in an in-house assessing process. The qualification, previously the A1 and A2 Assessors’ Qualifications, were amended last October and now consist of four level 3 qualifications. These are: - Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practises of Assessment - Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment - Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement - Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement This award is approved by the MOD in support of the ELC scheme. The entry requirements are that you are vocationally competent in the role you want to assess. You will need to work with between 2 and 4 learners to achieve these 3 units depending on the circumstances of the individuals involved.
