What makes a very Southern Christmas? Is it the decorations?
The traditions? From November 11 through December 30, Barrington Hall will showcase all the features of a very Southern Christmas in and around this historical property. Combining rituals and customs that range from the traditional fruitcake to the unexpected fireworks, from Christmas bags to an Atlanta favorite, the Pink Pig, visitors will experience the sounds, sights and smells of a distinctively Southern Christmas. A dedicated team of volunteers spend hours working to bring this grand historic home out in full holiday splendor with multiple exhibits and demonstrations unique to this region. Christmas in the South is a truly memorable experience, and a holiday visit to Barrington Hall might just become your newest favorite Southern Christmas custom!
