Koh Samui Drug Rehab Launches Innovative New Program

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 15, 2011 - Mr. David Oshman, CADAC (Certified Addictions Counselor) was promoted to the position of Program Director at Infinite Horizons today and immediately announced that he wanted to implement an innovative new program titled, Integrated Phased Recovery Program or IPRP.

IPRP is a system of evaluation which allows both the clinical team and the client to monitor progress through the program elements by Phases, instead of having our clients thrown into sessions that are not appropriate to their treatment progress.

This Five Phase System was developed to insure that all elements of the program are effective, and properly timed. Research shows that clients respond better when they are slowly integrated through the various aspects of the program instead of when they are simply dumped into them. Part of the problem with addiction treatment is that clients come into treatment knowing that they will stay for a fixed period of time.This enables them to see the door. Our program pushes the door farther away as clients soon begin to realize that each element of the program needs successful completion before they can move on.
