This is the second Allpets Emporium to open in Florida. Last July 15th, the first store debuted in Pembroke Pines with over 7,000 visitors.
“The early results from the first Allpets Emporium location greatly exceeded our expectations. We’re excited to build off the success of the first store so quickly,” said Scott Nash, Chief Executive Officer of the store’s holding company.
Similar to the Pembroke Pines location, the store in Davie features a stunning 3,000-gallon predator aquarium, which contains multiple species of sharks and eels. A Shark Feeding Frenzy show will be conducted at the store every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.

Majic 102.7 FM and DJ Steve Young will broadcast live from the store during the morning of the Grand Opening event. In the afternoon, another live radio broadcast will be hosted by 97.3 FM The Coast.
The Grand Opening event will feature pet contests, free balloons, and other giveaways. The first 250 families to arrive in the store will receive a free 10-gallon aquarium and gift basket. A ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring the mayor of the Town of Davie, Judy Paul, will occur at 11:30 a.m.
Allpets Emporium is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Further retail expansion is planned for early 2012.
