Local Radio Deejay Joins Laurel House To Speak Out About Teen Dating Violence

Oct. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- This event will take place on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 from 11am to 1 pm, at the Bryn Mawr Film Institute, 825 West Lancaster Ave., Bryn Mawr, PA 19010.

The theme for this year's contest is "Dating Violence Prevention and the National Teen Dating Abuse Helpline". The posters are designed to encourage teens who are in abusive, or potentially abusive relationship to call the National Dating Abuse Helpline at 1-888-331-9474.

Tommie Wilkins, Director of Community Education states "this year's poster contest entries show Montgomery County students have a true understanding of the dynamics of dating violence in the lives of teen".

Prizes will be awarded in two categories: painting/drawing and graphic design. Each category will have three winners: first, second and third place. The winners in both categories will be awarded prizes.
