Pink Ink 4 the Cure at MUMs' Custom Tattoo

Oct. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- MUMs’ Custom Tattoo of San Diego and The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) are teaming up for the “Pink Ink 4 The Cure” tattoo event on Saturday, October 29 from 12pm to 10pm.  Mums’ artists will be giving $50 pink ribbon tattoos to honor Breast Cancer Awareness month; all proceeds go directly to the BCRF to help find a cure.  Pink snacks, cupcakes, and beverages will be provided.  Additionally, for every $50 pink ribbon tattoo done during October, MUMs' will donate 10% from each to the BCRF.   MUMs’ is located at 1837 Garnet Ave. in Pacific Beach, San Diego.  Call 858.272.6867 to make an appointment or come as a walk-in.

In 2011, the American Cancer Society estimates that about 230,480 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed among women in the United States, and that about 39,520 women will die from the disease.  At this time there are about 2.5 million breast cancer survivors in the United States. Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in women, exceeded only by lung cancer.
