Oct. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- The Welcome Channel and the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show have proudly announced their partnership, and are ready to make a splash once again. Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the "Yachting Capital of the World" will host the 52nd Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show on October 27-31, 2011.

“The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show has year after year been an outstanding partner – together with Show Management, and a fabulous experience for our visiting international and domestic travelers in Miami. We are looking forward to kicking off the 52nd Annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show at the VIP Soiree on the 27th at Tundra Las Olas, the nation’s first ice themed restaurant, and to a world-class show, which this event consistently is!” said April Donelson, Director of Sales and Marketing for the Welcome Channel.

“We are so excited about our partnership with the Welcome Channel. We had a really successful soiree to kick off our Miami event as it put everyone in a great mood for the show. To do an event right downtown at Tundra, a brand new place with a great theme, it’s going to be a great way to celebrate the Boat Show” said Steve Sheer, Director of Marketing for Show Management

Covering six locations and over 3 million square feet of space, the show's transportation network of bus shuttles, water taxis, and riverboats ensures attendees can easily navigate the boat show and its expansive waterways system. Added attractions include The Blue Wild Dive Show, IGFA's School of Sport fishing and Hook the Future's Kids Fishing Clinics.
