First Dirt brings Immortal Technique & The Martyr Tour to Sacramento Thanksgiving Weekend

Oct. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- The Martyr Tour which features artists Immortal Technique with special guests Chino XL began 10/29/11 in Philadelphia, PA and will end 12/01/11 in Portland, OR.  Artist Immortal Technique has dominated the independent  Hip Hop industry for many years now and has been on the west coast on many occasions. This year both artist performed at the Paid Dues Festival, The Rock The Bells Tour and L.A Rising but have  yet to make a stop in Sacramento, CA since 2008.  Immortal Technique now teaming with Hip Hop legend and long time friend Chino Xl both artist present to you The Martyr Tour which will be performing in over 26 cities across the United States. First Dirt being a Sacramento based label and known for throwing events of this caliber knew Immortal Technique had never been to Sacramento and saw the opportunity to fulfill the wishes of many people in the city who have been requesting to see both these artists.  When the opportunity came they did exactly that.  

Artist Timothy Rhyme also known as A.R.A.B founder of record label First Dirt and Sacramento native has performed at many large shows before with artist such as The Living Legends, Canibus, and Locksmith.  He is also very well known as an independant artist and business man in Sacramento and will also be performing this night had this to say about the event as an artist and as a business man "Man, I am excited on so many different levels.  As an artist Immortal Technique is one of my top three of all time and Chino is also one of my favorites. I mean it feels amazing to be able to share the stage with artist I grew up idolizing and my new recruit A.M.I.T.S. and to be able to do it in my hometown is amazing.  As a business man it feels great to bring out one of my favorite artist to my hometown.  As a business everyone played their part and everything kind of fell into place. I got to see how important teamwork really is on this show and I am very proud of my team".

A.M.I.T.S. who is from the Inland Empire in Southern California but constantly travels back and forth to Sacramento where his new label is based.  For those who don’t know A.M.I.T.S. was the winner of the Hottest Up and Coming Artist In The Coast Award for 2011 and the latest addition to record label First Dirt.  A.M.I.T.S will be opening the show and although he is still young he has had big shows with other artist such as Dead Prez and 2mex but still believes this will be his biggest show yet.  A.M.I.T.S. had this to say about the show "Wow! the day we signed that contract my heart was pounding. I cant even imagine how I am going to feel the day of the show I am that nervous. But beneath all that i am excited...these are two artist I grew up admiring not only because of their lyrical ability but because how much they have done for the Latin community in the Hip Hop world.  I have met both these guys on multiple occasions and every time they have been very humble and real ..and now I get to share the stage with them ..its really amazing."
