NAFA Group Launches New Logo and Branding Slogan

Oct. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- The National Air Filtration Association (NAFA®) announced today the launch of their new logo and branding slogan.   As the leading trade association in the air filter industry since 1980, NAFA is comprised of individuals and companies engaged in the specifying, sale, service and manufacture of air filtration products, worldwide.  Offering professionalism and knowledge, NAFA’s Mission is "To conduct education and certification programs for members and end-user personnel, Develop “best practice” Guidelines for the air filter industry, Provide publication and forums for the exchange of information about technical standards, government regulation, and product information.”

Committee members met during their annual convention in Williamsburg, Virginia, August 2011, and were asked by NAFA’s Board of Directors to create a memorable phrase and brand image that reinforced the group’s premise and communicated the key benefits of working with NAFA members to all mmajor segments of the air filtration user market - industrial, commercial, healthcare, institutional and residential.  Brainstorming sessions and surveys conducted by both the marketing committee and the general NAFA membership, resulted in a combined list of 94 ideas.  A vote was taken, and the top six ideas were forwarded to the NAFA Board of Directors. The Board voted on the final slogan that they felt captured the essence of NAFA’s long term mission and vision for their leadership role in the air filtration industry.

“The Source for Expertise, Education & Standards in Air Filtration", submitted by Dave Harris of Air Rite Filters, will be immediately implemented into all future NAFA correspondence, advertising and marketing efforts.

The Marketing committee would like to thank all of the NAFA members who submitted ideas and tag lines that eventually lead to successful completion of this project.
