Follow on Google News | Monster High Joins the Fight Against BullyingMattel, the company behind Monster High, has announced that it has thrown its support behind a huge anti-bullying campaign.
By: MonsterHighDolls.net Kind Campaign is the brain child of Molly Thompson and Lauren Parsekian and have been trying for 2 years trying to promote the message – it’s cool to be kind to as many students as possible in middle schools and high schools throughout the country. The girl’s marketing vice president at Mattel, Lori Pantel, felt that this idea really struck a chord with this approach to a growing problem in America felt that the Monster High brand could fit into this idea. The brand itself is based around freaky teenagers with their own flaws and problems that show that you do not have to be perfect to have friends and have a great time with them. The Kind Campaign knows that getting the Mattel Monster High brand on board would bring their message to an even greater number of people as they already have a series of books, a website, a clothing line, TV webisodes that have been viewed more than 80 million times, and of course the famous Monster High dolls. This means that the campaign will be able to reach millions of people in a very short space of time which will help their cause tremendously. During October Mattel will be sponsoring various events in the community and releasing a websidoe called Finding Kind which will promote the ideas of the Kind Campaign to their millions of viewers around the world. Mattel feels that it has a social responsibility to children by its products and other adult may feel that getting involved with the Kind Campaign is totally the right thing to do. Many independent fan sites like http://monsterhighdolls.net are also doing their best to raise awareness of the campaign. End
