Free Concert In Celebration of 45 Years In leadership At Greater St. Paul Church Of God In Christ

Oct. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- MINNEAPOLIS, MN – 10.13.11 – On Saturday, October 15, 2011, many will gather to hear Ann Berry Johnson and Elder Darrin Thomas live in concert Singing To The Glory of God. In celebration of 45 years in leadership at Greater Saint Paul Church of God In Christ, Pastor Superintendent Vernell Thomas, and First Lady, Evangelist Loretta Thomas welcomes Ann Berry Johnson all the way from Memphis, TN.  

A Saint Paul, MN native, Johnson is a professional gospel singer with a long list of accolades including recording with the late gospel artist Sam Davis, performing alongside Grammy Award winning soloists Edwin Hawkins, Andre Crouch and group Sounds of Blackness, and lending lead vocals to the Church of God in Christ Mass Choir under the direction of the legendary Dr. Mattie Moss-Clark. Now residing in Memphis, TN, Johnson sings and speaks all over the country.

Ann Berry Johnson will be joined by soloist, and son of Pastor Superintendent Vernell Thomas, Elder Darrin Thomas. Blessed and appointed to sing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, both soloists will be accompanied by master musicians Lincoln Berry and Kevin Thomas on the Hammond Organ.  

Singing To The Glory of God will take place Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Greater Saint Paul Church of God In Christ located at 4001 4th Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55408. There is no admission charge and everyone is welcome.
