North County Solutions for Change and California State Auctioneer Champion Mike Grigg raise $1.3 million at an Evening to Remember featuring Condoleezza Rice fundraising event at the Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego, CA.
Mark King, CEO of Taylormade Golf emceed the hugely successful event which consisted of a silent auction, filet mignon dinner, speech by the 66th Secretary of State, Dr. Condoleezza Rice, live auction, fund-a-need, and live music by Chantal Kreviazuk.
North County Solutions for Change founders Chris and Tammy Megison were absolutely elated with the evening’s results. The word of the night was “WOW”! The goal for the evening was $500,000 and the event produced results that far exceeded expectations.
The Solutions for Change model is to provide permanent solutions capable of equipping a family with the skills, knowledge and resources needed to defeat homelessness, permanently. As a result they have created the Solutions University – a 1,000 day program that solves family homelessness permanently. Their goal is to help 200 families (that’s 400 kids) within the next 1,000 days.
Among the attendees were U.S. Congressman Darrell Issa and San Diego Padres owner Jeff Moorad.
