For the past several years, the family had been moving between tiny short-term apartments until they were selected in the lottery for a four-bedroom unit at Lillie Mae Jones Plaza. Ana, 20, the eldest daughter says, “We used to struggle a lot, and my mom would always think about how she would deal with all the payments, and she was always stressed…Now we actually have money to save, and it’s beautiful where we live, it’s relaxing.
