American Red Cross Needs Volunteers

The American Red Cross is a volunteer led organization and is in need of volunteers to support various functions.

Oct. 12, 2011 - PRLog -- Savannah, Georgia, Thursday, October 12, 2011- The Southeast Georgia Chapters of the American Red Cross responds to hundreds of disaster every year.  It is a volunteer led organization and is in need of additional volunteers to fulfill its mission. There are several way in which one can volunteer with the American Red Cross.  

Help victims of disasters; become an Disaster Action Team Volunteer, responding to local fires, floods and support our local first responders.  

Fundraising; join us on one of our fundraising committees to support our annual Gourmet Soiree Gala, Dollars for Disasters Campaign in the schools, Paint the Town Red or Philanthropy. Help place donor calls, grant research, place donor thank you calls and more.

Administrative; answer phones, place event follow up calls, prepare mailings, srpeadsheets, document filing, initernet research, and more.
